In midst of the catwalk heels and designer handbags, is a fashion event that caters to a group of bold and exciting niches in alternative apparel, accessories and footwear: LondonEdge.
A worldwide show, that is dedicated to a very specific sector of the fashion industry, the event takes pride in its creative roots and outlandish nature – bringing rock n roll, vintage, retro, pin up, burlesque and rockabilly collections together under one roof.
This time round over 350 brands are said to be in attendance offering a mixture of punk, rock and goth fashion. Among these include include renown kitsch staples Bettie Page, Hell Bunny, Voodoo Vixen and Purplish London.
In contrast, for those who prefer a darker take on gothic fashion there will also be iconic labels like Spin Doctor, Queen of Darkness, Kreepsville 666, Jaw Breaker and Phaze.
Also on the list are Banned Apparel, Dead Threads, Echo3 and Iron Fist. Catering for a wide range of people, all four brands promise to provoke an eye catching stay on the trade show floor.
Shopping aside, the show also offers other forms of entertainment including themed areas, lounges and complimentary hair styling stands.
Sure to bring a buzz to British fashion, LondonEdge takes place on 2nd to 4th February at The National Hall, Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, W14 8UX. For more information click here to visit their website.
