The first poster and trailer have been released for Wes Anderson‘s new film ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel‘. The poster matches what one would expect for both a grand hotel and a Wes Anderson film with the iconic image of a giant pink hotel amongst the mountains.
‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’is a story of Legendary concierge Gustav H., played by exuberant English actor and Anderson newcomer Ralph Feinnes, and his lobby boy in training (Tony Revolori). It follows the two as they try and evade the repercussions of a lifetime’s worth of great but not quite proper conciergery.
Returning to work again with Anderson are a host of his regulars including, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Owen Wilson, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Tilda Swinton, Jason Schwartzman, and Harvey Keitel. Added to this cast are several great faces comprised of F. Murray Abraham (Amadeus), Saoirse Ronan (How I Live Now), Jude Law (Sherlock Holmes), and Adrien Brody (King Kong).
Anderson has made a name for himself as the off the wall director producing a host of cute, character lead comedy dramas with which ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ promises to fit in with nicely. He got a lot of recognition for his last feature ‘Moonrise Kingdom‘ but is staying true to his directorial visions. Great direction, great performances, and a great story written by Anderson himself.
