Monday 11th March – Sunday 17th March

If you’re contemplating on what you’re going to wear this week, you’ve come to the perfect place! The fashion team at Hit The Floor have prepared another Fashion Forecast especially for you with the aim to give a little inspiration of what you can wear according to this week’s weather forecast.

 Monday 11th March

We can’t get enough of anything tartan! We’ve teamed this tartan scarf from Yoox (retailing at £96.00 – we know it’s on the pricey side, but isn’t it gorgeous?) with our favourite plain blue jeans from Topshop and a simple natural white rib-knit jumper from H&M. Monday is said to be windy with periods of light snow, and with highs of 1 degree! A trench coat is therefore mandatory. For accessories, we chose a pair of tan brogues, and a matching tan cross body bag.

 Tuesday 12th March

Fortunately, the temperature will go up a little on Tuesday, with highs of 3 degrees. The weather will still be gloomy though, so we have put some colour in this outfit to lighten up the day. We have chosen yet another jeans from Topshop, this time with ripped detail to give our outfit a somewhat grungy look, and paired it with a plain white jumper and a lightly faded denim jacket from Forever 21. To finish off this casual look, we added this oversized mustard-yellow scarf from ModCloth, a tan satchel, and DV by Dolce Vita black suede loafers with spike covered heels from NastyGal.

 Wednesday 13th March

The grunge trend is so in right now, and we are totally sporting it at every chance we get. With hints of sun and highs of 5 degrees, we cannot not wear a pair of black denim hotpants with spiked detail on the side – this pair is being sold for only £22.00 from Fashion Union. Just add a graphic tee and a leather jacket, and you’ll be on your way to become a rock star! For an even edgier look, team this outfit with black sheer polka dot tights and cut-out boots, and why not add some frilly socks if you dare? We are loving this oxblood Cambridge satchel – it goes perfectly well with the grungy theme we’re trying to achieve here!

 Thursday 14th March

The sun will be out on Thursday, with highs of 6 degrees and only a few clouds appearing during the day. Our outfits definitely reflect the mood we’re in, and this outfit we’ve combined definitely shows this. We’ve matched this mustard-yellow sweater with a monochrome outfit – a black and very affordable (£10.00) PU leather skirt from Rare London, and a Monki Esra blouse. Accessorise with a black bowler hat, a black shopper bag, and heeled boots for a girly look. Don’t forget to wear tights with your outfit though, as it’s still quite cold to go outside bare legged!

 Friday 15th March

This dress from Topshop is definitely a wardrobe staple, and there are numerous colours available to suit everyone’s tastes. Retailing at only £26.00, everyone should own one of these. We think that this dress looks especially lovely when teamed with black sheer tights and the most sought after pair of boots – the Jeffrey Campbell Lita boots. We added a pair of cat eye sunglasses (out current favourite pair is from Monki) as it is reported that Friday will see some sun, but with expected rain showers and snow too, make sure you wear a cardigan or jacket.

Saturday 16th March

Saturday is our favourite day of the week, well we reckon it’s everyone’s favourite day! We combined an outfit especially for those party animals that will brave Saturday’s rain and snow. With highs of 8 degrees, we can afford wearing this vintage sleeveless playsuit from Chicnova. Priced at £100.00, you will surely turn some heads wearing it. Team it with a pair of black studded heels, a bowler hat, and statement jewellery, and you’re good to go! Oh, and if you want an even more sophisticated look, a red lipstick will do the trick.

Sunday 17th March

Once again, Sunday will mostly consist of rain and clouds, with highs of 8 degrees. For a day out with the family or friends, why not wear a rolled up jeans and a plain white tee? To add a splash of colour to the outfit, we added this to-die-for pastel coloured floral headband from Crown and Glory (retailing at only £20.00!) and a lilac satchel. Wear with a pair of white Converse – you can never go wrong with Converse – and a cardigan to finish off the look. We are currently loving this cream cardigan from River Island.
