Marks And Spencer Join Forces With British Fashion Council

Marks and Spencer plan to back the best of British design talent in a new three year campaign, working in conjunction with the British Fashion Council. The Best of British initiative will comprise luxurious capsule edits with collections for both men and women, and focus on sustainability and local production.

According to BFC chairman Natalie Massenet, the British brand are a perfect partner to encourage a change in the fashion industry – “The M&S brand is synonymous with all things British so we are delighted that they will be partnering with us to champion the very best of the UK’s manufacturing, textiles and practice” Chief Executive of M&S Marc Bolland agrees saying: “This is the start of an exciting journey to put more emphasis on British design and talent.”

We can’t wait to see what collections are to come in this three year collaboration.
