K Is The Way

Versace-Fall-2007-08

As the hipper, edgier sister to fashion giant Versace, there’s a lot to be said for Versus Versace. With a strong following including Alexa Chung and Leighton Meester, not to mention their long-standing reputation to “anticipating new trends and embracing challenge”, they’ve pulled another one out of the bag – quite literally!

Teaming up with Parisian designers, K-Way – the connoisseurs of waterproof jackets – Versus Versace’s newly released collaboration pays meticulous detail to the demands of style and the practicalities that conflict it. Monochrome is key for the collection; which features specially designed jackets for male and female wearers, as well as the stylish I-Pad case.

With a style as bold as the subtle finer details, the eye catching jacket design is the vision of Versus Versace‘s design collaborator and London fashion graduate, J.W.Anderson, whose penchant for dazzling monochrome patterns hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Head of Versus Versace and fashion icon Donatella Versace spoke with great enthusiasm of the collection, stating, “I love the Versus Versace and K-WAY collaboration, because Versus Versace lives on the street. The jacket and iPad case are an amazing new way to get the Versus Versace look, and to bring attitude and energy to everyday essentials.”

“The jacket and iPad case are an amazing new way to get the Versus Versace look, and to bring attitude and energy to everyday essentials.” says Donatella.

For the technologically minded fashion lovers out there, you’re sure to love the I-Pad case and it’s attention to detail on the coloured rim and ever important soft cushioning. Who said style had to compromise comfort?

Proving “Versus Versace is all about fun, change, and digital.” – you can’t deny that after seeing this collection, which is available at Versus Versace.com, with the jacket fetching £297, and the I-Pad case at £79.
