Last week Pixie Geldof was living up to her 22 year old/daughter-of-rockstar credentials by hitting up Glastonbury in her army hotpants, casual cotton v-neck and Chelsea boot wellies.
This week it was a different story altogether though, as Pixie appeared at the Fashion Rules exhibition at Kensington Palace looking like she’d looted her nan’s wardrobe.
Pixie’s eclectic combination included a fake leather looking navy skirt with sequinned stars, stroppy lilac platforms and a floral print blouse. Sure it’s summery, but it’s a shock to see her in such an aging outfit.
While it may look dated to non fashionistas, we’re sure that not only would the skirt have attracted interested glances, but it’s also the creation of Pixie’s good friend and designer, Henry Holland – who’s designed the skirt as part of his collection to be revealed for 2014.
The skirt comes as a set with a matching crop top, which Pixie traded in favour of the floral blouse. So do you think it was a good swap, do you love the outfit, or completely loathe it? Let us know!
