Daniella Helayel the founder of the British based label Issa, has now left after a mutual agreement. The label was founded back in 2006, becoming more famous in November 2010, when Kate Middleton wore of their sapphire blue wraps when Prince William announced their engagement.
Helayel had reportedly been unhappy for a while, so her departure wasn’t too much of a surprise, however Daniella’s departure was mutual where she said, “Creating Issa has been one of the most rewarding things in my life. I may be leaving, but the Issa girl will live forever in my heart.”
After Daniella leaves the label, Blue Farrier is said to be the replacement Creative Designer, who has previously worked with Pheobe Philo at Chloe, Stella McCartney and Anya Hindmarch. Blue Farrier spoke about joining the label saying “It is an exciting time to join Issa. I’m looking forward to working with the Issa London team in developing the brand to reach its full potential.”
