Gareth Evans Hints At Third Raid Film

The Raid 2: Berandal, the follow up to 2011’s The Raid: Redemption is tantalisingly close to release, with a date set for March 28. Now their director, Gareth Evans, has been discussing a potential third film in the franchise.

He tweeted recently – The Raid 2 takes place two hours after the first. The Raid 3 would start two hours before The Raid 2 ends.

The welsh-born director has been making films in Indonesia for a while now and plans to make an English-language film before heading back to possibly complete The Raid trilogy. He also directed one of the sequences within horror anthology sequel V/H/S/2 earlier this year.

About Chris Brankin

From the humble beginnings of discovering Long Play on my VCR and recording three films per VHS from the TV, I have been fanatical about film. I love watching, reading and writing about them and have an encyclopaedic knowledge of useless trivia and actors back catalogues.
